HEXacid

HEXacid is an acid machine with a 16-step sequencer at its heart, built for dirty, distorted, razor-sharp acid lines. It squelches, slides and screams, and when you push it far enough it starts to misbehave in the best possible way.
• Classic acid soul, unhinged. Rubbery slides and accents that stack into a scream, plus a self-oscillating filter, sub oscillator, detuned double voice and filter FM.
• Four macros for live riding. SQUELCH, DIRT, ACID FLOW and FREAK each move several things at once, from warm and round to completely broken.
• A drive chain with teeth. Eight distortion modes, from warm tube to wavefolding, octave fuzz and bitcrush, plus a tempo-synced LFO and a tape delay you can push into self-oscillation.
• A sequencer that writes acid for you. Eight patterns, song chaining, ratchets, probability and drunk-walk playback. RAND writes fresh lines in key, MUTATE nudges them, and EVOLVE lets the pattern rewrite itself while it loops. Hold a chord and ARP turns it into a dance-punk arpeggio.
