HEXBasher

HEXBasher is a drum machine from VOZ ALTA LABS. It has ten drums, each with several sound variations, a 16-step sequencer in the spirit of the classic TR boxes, per-drum effects, a kick sub-bass generator and a GLITCH unit that chops, rolls, reverses and tape-stops your beat on the fly.
It is built for the sound of late-90s big beat and electronica: the swing and grit of a sampled breakbeat, the fat, distorted punch of rave-era kicks, and the stuttering, unpredictable drill programming of the Warp label. Every sound is synthesised inside the instrument; there are no sample files to install or lose.
HEXBasher runs as a standalone application and as an Audio Unit (AU) and VST3 plug-in.
